STUDENT COUNCIL

The college takes its students’ opinions very seriously and is constantly trying to make improvements. That is why we regularly have Student Voice Week where you have the chance to voice your opinions. This is followed by Year Council Week where your Form Captains meet the others in your year group to discuss your views. Each year group then chooses a boy and girl Form Captain to meet with the others, as well as Head Boy, Head Girl and a Peer Mentor representative. This group is called the Student Council.

The Student Council has worked very hard to make improvements to the college. Here are just a few of their successes:

On June 22nd 2008, Year 11 had their first ever prom at the Kings Croft Hotel and a fantastic time was had by all – students and staff alike!

Not only do we now have water-stations, but the PTFA also gave each student their own FTC water-bottle.

There is now a salad bar which has proven very popular, as well as lots of other healthy options.
